A company called Mannabase, Inc. made a website where you can sign up for universal basic income which is in form of their concurrency.
Andrew Yang, a potential next U.S president met with the Mannabase cryptocurrency team, as we saw in his post on Facebook this week:
“No matter who you are or where you’re from, we believe you have a basic human right to share in the money supply.”
It’s free money for everyone, just sign up to verify that you’re a human and start receiving money every few days, the company says that the amount will go up.
Mannabase will also be developing a system for targeted direct giving, enabling users to donate Manna currency to specific groups of people based on criteria such as geography, age, sex, and economic condition.
“The vision of Mannabase is to empower the people of the world by making cryptocurrency accessible and available to everyone, and to provide a tool for effective altruism to reduce poverty and inequality.”, the company says.
To start receiving money just register to their platform (it’s free), you can also send and receive money using their platform, resulting to a mass creation of a form of universal basic income that can all benefit from.
Of course, that can’t be expanded at a government level, but we may see operations, even similar programs from governments around the world. Pilot tests are already happening in many countries.
